Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

Very bad, to no coverage on the south coast, NSW Mollymook area. I had (quit contract $$$) to stand in a certain area of my house to receive calls, and texts took up to 4 hours to arrive. Bad for my business. When they quoted $450 to exit my contract, I accepted, however the bill came and it was over $500 due to added GST which is illegal to do. I have not paid, and requested some one to contact me, which I am still waiting.

I am constantly losing reception. They promise me another phone with another number they neglected to tell me that because I'm a student I couldnt have the second phone. If I call I'm usually on hold for around an hour listening to that terrible music. And they don't even answer my question when I do get through. And they never apologize I'm so sick of vodafone now I'm ready to keep them on hold for one hour

I have tried calling Vodaphone for 3months to get my credit card registered on my new number. I cannot get in contact with anyone in customer care ever. I have tried to go into a Vodaphone shop they cannot help me, they tell me to call Vodaphone. Vodaphone will place me on hold for hours at a time only to be hung up on when I am supposed to be advancing in the Que. The vodaphone reception is terrible and the money we pay for the plans are not worth it.

When I had two friends over from China who needed to have an Autralian mobile number, I didn't hesitate to take them to Vodafone which has been the only mobile network that I've ever used. They each purchased a sim card with $20 credit. They mainly used their phones to receive phone calls from China. After about one month, they both got the message from Vodafone saying their credit had run out. They were really puzzled as they were assured by Vodafone that they do not pay for phone calls received. One of my friends decided to purchase another $20 credit. Alas, two weeks later he got the message againg saying his credit was about to run out when he hardly had his phone switched on! I tried to contact Vodafone many times trying to work this out and was eventually told that the SIM card had a number that has been recycled. The person who had this number before subcribed to a company that provided overseas media content that still sent text message regularly at a cost of $3.50 per text message to my friend! You would think Vodafone would have blocked all these 'old connections' before they issue the same number again to someone else!!!

I was told that I would have coverage in Kalgoorlie as I travel there once a week. Yeah I get coverage but getting speeds worse than dial up (Speed test 1kb/s) and very unreliable. If I was not half way through a 24mth contract I would not be with this comapny at all.

I have not had proper coverage for over a year in the area that I live in, which is very annoying to say the least as I need my phone for work as many a time I am on call as a nurse/support worker. The battery does not stay charged for long either and I am paying over $130.or more a month for no service and all they can say is that they are working on it what a poor excuse I am sick of the service I am receiving at present.

4436 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Apology and network upgrade at 27 Dec 2010 06:05:14 PM
Well and good for Nigel Dews apology recently, but with the apology I do not fix my network problems.

Vodafone have announced a big boost to their national 3G network, but the question is when? This is their link:

http://www.vodafone.com.au/stelprd/groups/webcontent/documents/webcontent/vfa2_media_release_network.pdf

What is their dead line for the completion of the upgrade 12 months, 24 months or should I wait until I retire at 65?

Maybe to alleviate the coverage problem in the mean time (before they complete their upgrade) they could strike a deal with Telstra and Optus to use/share their towers where Vodafone towers do not exist or are too far away.

This would bring back some confidence back into their client base and would be a sign of respect towards their customers.

When I signed my contract with Vodafone I explained to the Sales Assistant that I worked within the Emergency Services sector and I needed to have optimal reception EVERYWHERE. I made myself quite clear that the style of phone was not my concern but excellent reception was imperative. The Sales Assistant sold me a contracted phone with the reassurance that they have never had a problem with reception with that particular phone.
Well to my suprise she lied in a big way. I lived in the centre of town and was unable to get reception, when I was at home the only place I was able to have reception was by walking out to my letter box to make phone calls and send messages.
I rung Vodafone a few weeks later and informed them of the conversation I had had with the sales assistant, I stressed the importance of reception to the Vodafone rep. The only conclusion I achieved from the phone call was that I could pay my contract out or continue my contract.
I had no option but to pay my contract out as I HAD to have reception at all times and in all locations. This little exercise cost me a ridiculous amount of money and time and was a huge inconvenience.
I will never buy Vodafone again.
27 Dec 2010 07:51:05 PM: That's terrible
27 Dec 2010 08:34:10 PM: Oh and they even continued to send me monthly bills after I paid the contract out, cancelled my contract and had my phone turned off. Karma hey, I guess their's is coming

had heaps of internet issues where after several complaints, hours and hours of telephone calls and being shafted from one dept to another, from one non english speaking so called customer service operator to another to be told my laptop was the issue and to find out it was only a coverage problem they still will not issue me back my credit i still have in the account.although not a large sum the cost of losing coverage and buying a new laptop for no reason just shows how useless this company is.this also icluded vodafone sending me 2 new doggles and new sim card.what does a person have to do to be reimbursed as when you go into a store they just say "phone customer service" ha what a joke

4429 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is poor internet services at 27 Dec 2010 06:04:40 PM
We bought an internet USB stick in May 2010 from Vodafone, never had coverage (even though Vodafone said that in that area they have full coverage). Vodafone promised to fix it, never called back. After contacting them on numerous occasions (and being put through tens of departments and all at our own expance), they said that the contract was canceled, when in fact not only that they DID NOT cancel the cpntract, but they transfered "the debt of one month fee" to a collection company WITHOUT informing us (we never received a letter of notification, a bill etc). We were contacted by that collection company and threatened we will end up with a very bad credit history if we do not pay them. That is when we called Vodafone and they said we have to IGNORE that letter because our contract with them had been canceled. Only in november 2010 could we close the business with Vodafone, after we had to pay from our own pockets for all the correspondence with them and all the trouble with the collection company that they hired to get money from us we did not owe. It cost us 6 phone cards of $29 each and 20 hours of our times to sort out their mess because they REFUSED to call the collection company themselves. At the moment we are very very disappointed and we want to be compensated. Hope you will be able to do something about it. Our details: Brett and Betty Pedersen, 0406212705

We have TWO mobile phones which never get reception. I have a pre-psaid USB internet modem, it cost me $100 and when i took it back to my store to obtsin a refund they told me coverage is not their problem as long the unit works i said "The unit doesn't work because there is nop signal strength". Our mobile are about 1 year old, we can't change to another provider because the phones are locked. Vodafone wants us to pay to unlock the phones. Vodafone should make sure they could at least give 90% coverage, not tell customs it's not their problem but it is their problem, the total cost of Vodafone's failure to us is about $400. we've been with vodafone as loyal customer for a few years and always recharges the credit with reasonable amount but so far until today always...always had a problem with the network coverage, doesn't matter where we are and whenever. actually even got worse than that where i was in emergency ( Hospital ) by my self couldn't made a call with the mobile that i had because there was no reception at all, its really..really wasn't fair at all. i've been keep complaining but they(vodafone) didn't really make improvement to provide a better service coverage, so i think its time for us to consider and think about whether stai in with vodafone problem or move in to a better provider.

Vodafone needs to address with with the highest priority.

Moved from the ACT in 2007, no problems with service there. Live in north coast area, have had poor service all the time I have lived here, have complained to Vodafone retail store about service and been told on more than one occasion that they were going to put in new tower in local area for better reception YEH RIGHT! Heard it all before, there are only a few places in my home where I can get service usually sit on front window sill. Sick to death of appalling service and lack of concern from customer service staff when I ring to complain. Their store closed some time ago but they were useless anyway. Good luck with this campaign.

I entered into a contract with Vodafone in June, with a Nokia N97 phone and have no reception ever since. My Mobile has been sent away 3 times for repair and I have had a new sim card and 6 months down the track I still have NO reception. I can''t really complain about poor reception - it is always great EXCEPT for when I am in my house - a double brick home, that I get frequent drop outs. When I walk outside its fine. Any other location outside of my home is fine.

The thing that concerns me though is receiving a text message one hour after it was sent. This has not happened regularly, but has happened approximately 4 - 5 time in the last month or so.

No reception especially in my house, in the middle of the night I can not answer the phone unless I get out of bed and stand in a certain spot on my veranda if I am lucky it will connect, then the call drops out after 3mins. Messages can take up to 2 hours to be delivered to other phones. I am sick of having sos on my phone as this is the only reception available within my house and with all this rain its a disaster to trey and make calls. Very poor reception - all the time. Call drop outs mid conversation or unable to reach others on their mobiles; 3 or 4 attempts required.
Misinformed about global roaming and felt ripped off and was not compensated satisfactorily.
I can't turn off my voice mail even when following the exact instructions - they, the automated voice, confirmed the action (to turn of v-mail) is done but it actually remains on.
Extremely difficult to speak to a customer service operator - you must go through so many electronic options and then you end up talking to someone in a foreign country and the quality of the call is usually very bad and the customer service operator doesn't speak English very well or can't understand you.

4367 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is a total fail! at 27 Dec 2010 05:56:10 PM
We are about to move to Ravenshoe, in Far North Queensland, and up there, only Telstra is available. So because Ravenshoe is apparently in the 8% or whatever it is of Australia that they don't cover (I think this is a lie!), we have to change providers. So I rang up to ask about this, and we will be slugged a $3000 bill to exit, not because we want to, but because they don't have coverage. The best they can do is reduce the fee to $1500. That is still a lot of money because they are too incompetent to put reception in towns!!! I am very upset, and haven't decided what to do yet!
On a positive note, this is an awesome site! Well done!

I joined Vodafone wireless broadband after they looked up my address on their site and establishing total coverage. I live in Jolimont, less than 5k from Perth City centre and am on an upper floor so I envisaged no problems.
The first 3 weeks were idyllic. I could receive on my laptop all over the house as per usual. But then, suddenly, at about 3 weeks in, I couldn't get my connection. All over the house bar one uncomfortable corner of the lounge near a window, the connection WILL NOT pick up, even when there is a few bars of network available.

I asked at the shop and they shrugged and palmed me off. I am not impressed at all.

where to start? transferred to voda from 3 (at the point where i wasnt aware they were merging..) then had problems with sign up- somehow wrong info entered, pushed into putting my number onto hubby's account which is all great til it comes on 1 bill which has none of my details - hopeless for tax.. mislead about data packages, bills $200 more than they shouldve been (basically staff instore told us different to the actual - and then i heard them repeat same to another customer next time i was in store!!!) told by 3/VODA customer service that i was wrong and that i needed to listen to them, spent countless hours on the phone to call centres on the other side of the world who cant seem to fix anything.. finally got credited for the mishap, but they STILL couldnt get my details right.. been ok for about a month, now it seems that my house has no reception despite my phone saying full reception.. I refuse to call the call centre as the last 2 times i called i was informed by "LARA" that there was a 40 minute wait and guess what...? the line dropped out.. had been with voda in the past then optus then 3, went back to voda thinking they were the best of the bunch.. Hmpfff and the funny thing? I only commenced my contract at the end of August!! They dont seem to think its funny when i tell them that i am disconnecting my payments because they havent kept their deal... TELCO Ombudsman here we come!!! just waiting for another written response from them to add to the collection!!

I have had days of Vodafone not allowing calls through to my phone even though the signal bars on my handset are full. Voicemail messages coming through as a result of this take 3 to 4 days. My coverage drops out inside my house (about 15kms outside of the CBD) but never in the same room. Basically hit and miss depending on the day and time. I was talking to another phone provider the other day on my mobile and the phone dropped out 6 times in the space of 10 mins - was this because I was talking to the opposition (lol). Sooooo totally over Vodafone.

I was with 3 but my contract was finished and my current phone died so went into 3 shop to get new phone and change cap plan. Was advised that Vodaphone had bought out 3 but as 3 used the same networks/lines etc, I wouldn't notice a difference. However when calling my parents who live maybe 20 metres away the calls drop out and can never get on facebook. Wait and see how it goes as I've only had phone for a week.

When I enquired about unlocking my phone so I could change networks I was told they couldn't do it, even though I owned the phone outright. I finally changed over to another network but it took several phone calls, many hours on hold form Customer care and abuse from the owner of a Vodofone shop

4328 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Legendary Fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:51:55 PM
Have been with VF for a LONG time, however, signed up a two year contract in Feb 2010 (because I found their service to be excellent, Customer Service was crap, but never needed it in years). In July 2010, while wife was sick and tired of 3, I convinced her to switch over to Vodafone as well, BIG MISTAKE. It appears she brought all her problems with her;

1- Call Drop Outs.
2- Extremely Slow Internet.
3- No Coverage needing REBOOT (Blackberries are a pain in the arse to REBOOT)
4- SOS Only needing REBOOT.
5- 3G Constantly Dropping even at FULL 3G coverage a second ago.
6- 'SIM Unregistered' Message needing REBOOT.

Called VF, you know how frustrating it is trying to talk to bloody Lara while at work? Twenty five minutes first hold, problem not solved.

Second call, told to leave number and will get a call in just over thirty minutes, no call back for 52 minutes.

Called again, on hold for over 25 minutes when another call is on hold, switched over, 26 minutes later, been put back on hold, still not sorted.

I have avoided having wife's iPhone break my head numerous times (mostly because she loves her phone), but this is ridiculous.

My uncle passed overseas three days ago and while on the mobile talking to his daughter to share the sorrows, the phone drops out after a five minute conversation. to top that off, my sister calls me from USA because she is very depressed, but I can't call her back because the 'Sim Unregistered' message...

I will call them every time there is a problem and demand out if it keeps happening regularly hence forth.

My boyfriend who is with three gets full reception and yet I thought vodafone and three had merged, so why don't they share the same service?? One day into my new contract I tried to change phones because the battery didn't last 24 hours, and I need it for on call duties. Vodafone told me I would have to return the phone 3 times in 28 days before they would let me change to a different phone...what a joke!

I live in Mackay QLD and have extremely poor reception in and around my home. In summary my vodafone contract phone can not be used in or around our residence where i spend most of my time, hence, I am stuck paying a 24mth contract for nothing. When explaining my plight to Vodafone they said it is unfortunate but they would not break my contract free of charge or assist in anyway!

I will not use vodafone again, EVER. (Well when they let me out my jail sentence lock in)

27 Dec 2010 06:01:14 PM: You can get out of the contract J, you're not breaking the contract, VF is breaching it by not providing you with the service they promised, give them a call everytime you have a problem for a couple of weeks, if it doesn't get better, tell them you want out, you will go and find another provider, if you have gotten a phone off them, offer to return it to them. Find yourself a better provider (I personally despise OPTUS), ask the staff to help you through the process.

We have found after being with Crazy John's for a short time (they use Vodafone, 3 and Crazy John's together) that my husband and I have entire days without coverage. No support offered from Vodafone/Crazy John's. My phone will often let me know I have a voicemail when the thing never even rang for me to answer it. Text messages can take forever (not always) but too often... and often I can't even phone my husband as we're on the same network/plan. Previously we were with Virgin and had no issues. My reception drops out all the time and it isnt always when i am in unusally places.(e.g when i went for a weekend away in windsor i had to reception the whole time.... which is some what understandable.)
But when i am simply lying on my bed or have my phone at my desk, places where i can get 100% coverage on the "good days".

I left Vodafone the moment my contract expired with them. After the horrible coverage and reception I suffered for to years, they failed to send me my last bill, I called and requested it to be sent. It never was. i received an email saying I had to pay the amount plus an overdue fee, the regular bill was unusually high. I emailed back requesting a breakdown of the bill, after three of these requests Vodafone sent me someone elses bill, with their phone number, all the call and messages they had sent over the past month and their address. I called to complain but wasn't able to talk to a person.

I went into a store to complain, and they gave me yet another phone number. This all went on over about three months. Me requesting my bill, they were calling and telling me to pay my bill. In the end I paid, I was sick of the phone calls, but I still regret that they wore me down.

I sent the other person's bill that they sent to me to the address on the bill, with a letter telling him that I was given all his personal details, and to be careful.

20 Jan 2011 01:58:56 AM: 'but I still regret that they wore me down." How many times have I seen something similar on this website- I think Vodafone is doing it quite deliberately

In 2009 my husband signed up with Vodafone through Crazy Johns shop, promising us excellent reception, told them I did party plan and traveled around, showed us the map of all their towers but Hubby dropped me off on Military Rd Semaphore, while he went to main Street close by, I rang and rang him, no answer, this was within half a klm. Same thing again got stranded and had to go looking for him in a country town, this caused me a lot of anxiety and had to get a lift from someone to go and find him, Crazy Johns would not believe us that the phone was faulty, I insisted they look at it, after two trips to shop, they took it and gave us a replacement for the interim that did not work either, then we got the old one back and it HAD been faulty, still got no coverage, and I rang up and told them that I had come to the end of my patience and they got hubby out of the contract, that day was a great one for us!! Back to Telstra for him, and all is good.

4293 Someone from WA thinks vodafone is super big disgraceful fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:48:40 PM
People phone me, unable to get through because the 'line is busy' even though I am not using the phone. On several calls the signal has just dropped out resulting in the call being terminated. This is in residential, urban metro area of Perth!! Takes a really long time for voice messages to come through and be recognised. Vodafone have locked me in to a 24 month contract with a blackberry. First plan I have bought, been with vodafone for ages, trusted them. There performance in the last 12 months has been nothing short of a disgrace. Expecting me to pay for a service?? What service?? A lot of the time my phone gets such a weak signal I cant make calls. The internet on my phone too is super slow. Nothing more infuriating when you are on the phone and it disconnects. The whole point of me having a phone is so I can get in contact with people when not at home and people can reach me when i am not at home. I might aswell leave my mobile at home seeing as the whole purpose of me having a phone at times is pretty much defeated. Oh and I forgot to mention. The lag in texting is horrible sometimes. Sure if I was living in the country, had an inferior phone and wasnt paying a big monthly premium for it i would have no issue. But I have a blackberry, pay heaps for the service and live in metro perth where Vodafone claim to have on par coverage. This a complete disgrace. I'm counting down the months vodafone.... And after that I am out. I am investigating terminating early, just doing the sums of what it would cost.
27 Dec 2010 06:07:51 PM: I've had all the same problems, whatever you do do not agree to pay the termination fees, after 2 months of crap service and numerous problems I phoned the TIO and got a call on Friday from Vodafone saying that I will be let out of the contract with no termination fees as long as I return the phone to them

Since moving to Syd from Melb and over the last 6mths the service and coverage has gone downhill considerably. I'm often having to turn off 3G just to make a phone call and on one occasion with full bars, I couldn't make a call or receive any calls. I have tried to contact Vodafone 10 times (low number because of giving up trying), getting through only 4 times, of which 3 I was hung up on straight after saying my name. Generally the wait was up to 30mins, didn't stay any longer on the phone to find out how long. I have had brilliant service in the past, but in the last 6mths it is the worst I have ever had. 4282 Someone from NT thinks vodafone is EPIC NETWORK FAIL ! at 27 Dec 2010 05:46:07 PM
I have had a contract with Vodafone for approx two years now. Although I've never had a problem with Customer Service per say; the Network is pathetic ! I live in Darwin in the Northern Suburbs District & work in the City district. Although Darwin may seem to be classed as a "remote" area, it's still no excuse for the such horrible Network Service I get. Both in the City & the Suburbs I get 1-3 bars of reception usually, & when receiving text messages they are some what delayed anywhere between 5minutes & an hour ! (according to the time stamp that also comes through), this is especially when I receive messages from other Vodafone Users. Attempts to make phone calls can sometimes not even be worth the try; as %50 if the calls I make Im usually met with the now all too familiar "beep, beep, beep", or be half way through the conversation (again more frequently with other Voda Users) and the call drops out with a message on my screen saying "Call Failed". I work in Car Rental and use my Mobile phone to organise many aspects of my day; getting through this efficiently and smoothly is impossible with the Vodafone Network & if the problem pursits will definately NOT be renewing my contract by the end of it. It's simply not worth the distress & especially the inconvinieces it causes for me in my Job ! So, do you think Vodafone will seriously get off their ass and do anything about it ? After numerous phone enquires, they're not even worth my time to go in and directly deal with them; I think NOT !
From one User who definately will not associate with Vodafone again unless they start to value their Clients & provide a more efficient service !

I am so glad I watched the news tonight and have seen your website! Thank you!

Their customer service is just disgraceful - I don't know how they are allowed to get away with it.
the below is a complaint letter that I sent to them a couple of month ago. No one responded to me. I am going down to vodafone tomorrow to get out of my contract if I can - I encourage everyone to do the same - having no customers is the only way to hurt these organsiations - vote with your feet!

DEAR WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDER EVER!

I AM WRITING THIS EMAIL OUT OF SHEER ANGER AND FRUSTRATION AS I CANNOT FIND ANSWERS ANY OTHER WAY. KNOWING VODAFONE I WON'T GET A RESPONSE.

YOUR RIDICULOUS LARA VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND DOES NOT WORK. YOU WAIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND THEN GET THROUGH TO A DIVISION LIKE TECH SUPPORT WHEN YOU WANT BILLING AND THEY CAN'T HELP YOU. YOU ARE THEN TRANSFERRED BACK ONTO A QUEUE THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN.

LET YOUR CUSTOMERS SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. A PERSON THAT IS AUSTRALIAN! YOU ARE THE AUSTRALIA DIVISION OF VODAFONE! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING PUT THROUGH TO AN INDIAN OR EGYPTIAN CALL CENTRE WITH STAFF THAT CULTURALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT. I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD TONIGHT FOR OVER TWO HOURS. RESOURCE YOUR CALL CENTRES APPROPRIATELY!!! I HAVE BEEN PASSED FROM EVERY DIVISION, SPOKEN TO A SUPERVISOR AND STILL NO ONE IS ABLE TO PUT ME THROUGH TO A PERSON THAT CAN ASSIST WITH MY REQUEST.

I APPRECIATE THAT YOU CFO IS TIGHT AND WANTS TO CUT COSTS BY OUTSOURCING CALL CENTRES TO INDIA AND EGYPT, BUT YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE INDIAN CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM'S ACCENT AND LANGUAGE BARRIERS. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE IN AUSTRALIA AT ALL. ASK YOUR MARKETING DIRECTOR - WHAT IS THE POINT OF DEVELOPING A GREAT BRAND CAMPAGIN WHEN YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED LIKE DIRT AT THE OTHER END I CANNOT BELEIVE HOW BACKWARD YOUR APPROACH TO CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS.

IF I DIDN'T HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO I WOULD START A VODAFONE HATE CAMPAIGN ACROSS EVERY SOCIAL NETWORK SITE I CAN FIND.

IF THERE IS ANYONE WITH A BRAIN THAT CAN READ THIS EMAIL, PLEASE SEND IT TO YOU MARKETING TEAMS, BECAUSE I AM SURE THEY WILL CARE MORE ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT THAN ANY OTHER. IF YOU WANT A LESSON IN CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE PHONE THE COMMONWEALTH BANK AS THEY KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS PROPERLY. I FEEL LIKE I MATTER TO THEM AS A CUSTOMER.

WITH VODAFONE I CAN'T WAIT TO WORK OUT HOW I'M GOING TO GET OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT AND TELL EVERYONE HOW ABISMAL YOUR SERVICE IS!

IF SOME POTATO IN YOUR AUSTRALIA CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM COULD CONTACT ME TO ANSWER MY QUESTION I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL.

I WON'T HOLD MY BREATH.
27 Dec 2010 05:59:18 PM: Your letter looks close to the letter I wrote to them not that long ago. I'm still waiting for that call...All I have been getting is automated email replies
27 Dec 2010 11:36:07 PM: maybe you shouldn't be such a racist dickhead
29 Dec 2010 06:33:51 PM: LOl you idiot......Commonwealth Bank got the lowest score in customer service out of any of the major banks. Im not defending Vodafone nor am I trying to make Commonwealth Bank sound bad but seriously do some research before you make such stupid comments. P.S all you have to do is ask to cancel your contract, they will cancel it for you or come to a compromise. I was annoyed that I was paying $100 a month for shitty coverage and they cancelled my contract. Done happy :-) ......ohh and if you think that vodafone has tight ass CFO, you might want to google what commonwealth banks profits were last year. The board decides to cut costs to make money for share holders. Share holders at the end of the day want more profits so therefore favour cheaper decisions, the CFO is mearly a puppet in-between the public and its shareholders.........so who do we blame SHAREHOLDERS!!!! no further comment....

8 Jan 2011 05:59:50 AM: Whats with pd continually refering to phd s?
9 Jan 2011 04:29:17 PM: Hullo friend

very sorry to hear from your issues . For all the viewers , please understand vodafone is upgrading its towers and that is why is the reasons for all this . vodafone is trying to give its customers cheapest and best services to all . The main reason two company telstra and optus is jealsouy and cant win in business side , so they are tarnishing the image of vodafone.vodafone has invested 8billions for its towers and 8.3ghz frequency which is equal to telestra. People need to be patient . customer care in India is par excellence services . Indians are well educated and well mannered people .if aussies understand indian english then there is some problem in vocal bury and ausi phonics. Guys cant we just grow up?and let us stop being racist .and for all your worries on vodaofne , you will be definitely compensated .
31 Jan 2011 04:42:47 PM: Oh yeah and are you authorised by vodacrap to lie on their behalf, and mislead some people into believeing we will be compensated?
13 Feb 2011 11:47:48 PM: I fail to see how pointing out that the majority of us cannot understand Indian or Egyptian accents is racist.... its just the truth. We cant understand what they're saying. Who wouldn't rather have Australian operators where half the conversation isn't asking them to repeat what they just said 3 times?

4261 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Crap! at 27 Dec 2010 05:43:01 PM
I am paying good money each month for broadband coverage only to not be able to connect to the internet for at least 60% of the time. When the connection drops out, they still deduct from my allowance for the month. On querying this with their call centre many times, they informed me that I would have to open up my connection so that their staff could gain control of my PC and alter my settings - Just how stupid do these clowns think I am to allow a stranger access to my PC in 2010??

Further whinges have to come from the fact that I paid to have my phone unlocked, only for the code not to work and for them claiming that I still need to pay them - again what is with this paying for non existent service?

A family member of mine is also visiting from abroad and bought a Vodafone prepaid pack, only to have minimal coverage over the past week - this in the middle of Sydney.

Shocking - shocking - shocking that these muppets have not been kicked up the bum ages ago.

4260 Someone from NT thinks vodafone is Vodafail at 27 Dec 2010 05:42:35 PM
I moved to Darwin 2 months ago and have had nothing but problems, with no reception for mobile or broadband. I have been into the Vodafone shop 4 times and every time I ask for assistance I am told to call 1555. Once the staff even told me I needed to call Customer Support from where I have no coverage!!! I have called 1555 3 times and once they actually asked for another number to call me back on so I went into work on my day off and waited for the return call, needless to say I am still waiting over a month later.

I resorted to sending an online request asking for my payout figure, as once again, the girls at the shop couldn't give me the information and advised I should call 1555! I received an acknowledgement email, and then a week later I received an email asking if the fault was still a problem or had I resolved it myself. If only I could!!!

4256 Someone from NSW thinks vodafone is Terrible Service at 27 Dec 2010 05:41:21 PM
My husband and I have been a loyal Vodafone customer for over 10 years, over the last 12 months I have notice more drop outs and terrible coverage. I live in the south west in Camden and can't get reception in my house. We both have company mobiles with Optus and Telstra and we have full coverage... So please explain what the problem is? You seem to be happy to take our money every month but not invest in the services to run them!

4254 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Pretty Damn fail at 27 Dec 2010 05:41:08 PM
I get the problem with dropped calls, maybe once a week, but it's not super often, the more common fault I get is simply not being able to place a call full stop. Every few days I go to make a call, my phone dials but the call does not go through. If I wait a few minutes then usually I can get it to work but sometimes I have to wait till my phone connects to another signal tower. I'm with Reward Mobile who use the Vodaphone network can I still complain?

4249 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is Reception and over-charging at 27 Dec 2010 05:40:37 PM
Reception is very poor and if i wasn't on the phone for a good hour saying to 'Vodafone' people, look you have over charged my account by $245.30, they could have easy got away with it. They kept telling me I went over my plan when I never have. It took so much of time and effort and who knows how many people they have actually got away with scamming. It is a waste of my time!
Disappointed and disgusted with the signal!!
