Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

7175 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is at 28 Dec 2010 05:49:39 PM
I moved to house in Nov 09 to an outer melb suburb which according to the vodafone coverage map has "standard coverage". I have NO reception inside or outside, or out in the open or up on the main road or standing on one leg with my fingers crossed. I was trying to for weeks and weeks over 6 months in the end, speaking with different vodafone people, I heard every excuse, spoke to so many departments, with so many accents, spent so much time waiting and of course this was all when I was meant to be working or driving because I couldn't call from home in my spare time. They did send me a "new" very old model phone which occasionally comes up with 1 bar of service but then proves useless when it's needed. I gave up when I was told by an Aussie supervisor in a complaints department that I would have to see out my contract because it's not there fault because I moved, true, but I said to him that it is there fault i have no reception where they claim to have reception, when they clearly don't, he then blamed it on the tall trees near the boundary of our property (at least 50 metres from the house) and that this would be the "final decision" on this case. I'm completely over it, my contract has got 5 months to go and I can't afford to break it but I can't afford to be unavailable to the rest of the world even more. I'll be moving to telstra in the new year.
I thought I was the only one, Thank You for uniting us and breaking the silence of "No network coverage"
