Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

7350 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is Absolutely at 28 Dec 2010 06:15:12 PM
After switching to Vodafone in August and within 4 weeks of using their network I knew I was in trouble. I have tried to call Vodafone since end of September 2010 and have had absolutely no success. The 1555 number is Moombai and they have absolutely no idea of how to fix the problem. When I try to explain that I have no service on my phone in MANY areas of the Gold Coast they cannot relate because they don't know the areas I am trying to explain.

I have been on the phone 5 times for over one hour each and with a promise of them "escalating" my situation and a call back within 5 days. Surprise, surprise never have I received a call back. Their solution was to manually search for a network each time!!!! Another solution pull my phone apart put it back together and turn it on - "What happens?" - NOTHING!!! Use my sons phone and maybe mine will come back on in a couple of days - uuum he is with Vodafone too.

I called the Australian line of 13588 (by accident) - and they too promised to escalate my problem and a call back within 5 days. The latest "5 day turn around call" expired on Thursday 23.12.10. Absolutely, positively get back to you - GUARANTEED! Yeah right!

1555 do not call you back and they keep you on hold for a minimum of 1 hour.

I know I have lost business due to the lack of service. I am on a 2 year $99 per month plan and am only 4 months into the plan. I can't use the "unlimited" access to the internet because there is no service. I don't have enough "bars" to make a call and can only text or email.

I reported my issue with TIO last Monday 20.12.10. I also lodged a compliant through Vodafone website on Monday with the promise of a response within 5 days which expired on Friday 24.12.10

I want OUT! And I want compensation for port out charges they were supposed to cover from the previous network of $1,500 - we have 9 mobiles between my husband and my business.
