Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

6005 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is at 28 Dec 2010 07:22:55 AM
I completely and utterly loathe the service of Vodafone but was attracted by the great prices..... BAD move. I have had numerous issues with this poor exceuse for a telecommunications company for years with signals dropping out, internet not working, phones being disconnected etc. The latest was outrageous and it has had a significant impact on my business. I had noticed that some of my clients hadn't been replying to my emails which I thought was odd so I rang them. Turns out that they didn't receive any emails at all. I rang Vodafone to find out what on earth was happening....... After numerous hours of hold, being handballed all over the place I spoke to a 'genius' who indicated that due to a technical error some of me emails weren't getting through to their destination.... I asked the gentleman on the other end of the phone how long this had been happening for and he originally dodged the question until I pressure him and he finally said 'Over two months'!!! I then proceeded to ask why customers weren't notified of this and what I was supposed to do to find out which emails were successful. His answer to the first questions was they would have to ring up to find out!! His answer to the second questions was that I should ring up ALL of the people I had spoken to to find out whether they had received the email. That is 2 months worth of emails!!!! Sure I have nothing better to do with my time. They said this problem would be rectified and that I would be notifed when it had. That is now over three months ago and I have still heard nothing... As such I have rerouted my emails so that they don't need to go through Vodafone. I am also refusing to pay any future bills from these idiots. For a telecommunications company they do anything BUT communicate, especially to their customers. I hope their business goes under in Australia.
Congrats to the guy who set this up. I had the same thoughts but was too consumed by rage and didn't want to spend any more of my time on them.
