Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

5836 Someone from SA thinks vodafone is near complete fail at 28 Dec 2010 06:01:53 AM
i've been a customer since 2000 and the reception in the last 3 or so years has been bad. even when i'm calling from city to city, i have dropouts. even within seconds of the receiver answering the call. personally, i think they want to make money from connection fees. sometimes i have to call 4 times just to have a conversation.

the other issue is MMS. i sent a picture of my new puppy to some friends and i got messages from some people - one person received the message SIX times! others 2, others 4, the lucky ones got it once.
i tried to complain and called 1511 and after battling it out with voice activated lara, i got to talk to someone in a call centre overseas. she pretended not to hear me when i starting making the complaint and get this - she said that she can't hear me and the connection must be faulty (tell me how can a telecommunications multinational be allowed to have poor connection to the phone help desk??????) - then started reciting "please call back during the business hours of ..." to which i was appalled and tried to get her to 'hear' me, she repeated herself again.

then i said - "you're lying"
to which she replied (with perfect timing as if she'd heard me) - "goodbye"
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i decided to call again and after waiting for 30 minutes, gave up.

so i emailed complaints. they gave me the run around. eventually after being passed through 2 people, i was advised to call yet another stupid number. i give up!

i have decided to pay for the MMS's and switch telcos as soon as my blasted contract is over.

i don't normally get riled up but this multinational is really giving me the expletive.
