Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

2848 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is at 27 Dec 2010 02:44:17 PM
i signed a contract with vodafone back in 2008 i believe, i was under the impression that i would get perfect coverage in my area, as i was told by the sales rep.
i had nothing but trouble trying to get reception for my broad band i even moved my whole computer around the house. nothing would work it was slow and sometimes unresponsive.
i rang vodafone to express my frustration and concerns and all i got told was the computer shows you have coverage in your area, this made me extremely made and i began venting my fury at the person on the other end of the phone whome i couldn't understand completely which made it more frustrating.
anyways i stopped paying the bills where they eventually sent me a letter stating to pay almost $4,000. which consisted of late fees disconnection fees and so forth or else they would take me to court.
i ended up paying the bill off and then vodafone sent me another letter at the end of my payment plan stating that i had a couple of hundred dollars to pay so i paid it in full. i then rang the debt collection agency to say i paid it and they told me i had paid too much, well then i flipped it even further, i rang vodafone to tell them i wanted my money back they stated it may take upto 3 weeks to process and send me a cheque i said fine so long as i get my money back with was over $300. anyways 6 weeks went past no cheque i rang them back in a fit of rage and demanded my money the answer i got was there is a back log and it may take a few more weeks to get it to u i said u have 2 weeks to get it to me or im going to higher authority, i had the cheque in my hand a week later.
all in all i payed out a contract and late fees for a service that i got maybe a month or 2 full use out of.
so yeah im really ticked off and to find out people may get there money back eventually through a class action annoys me because i have no proof that i had paid it as i have thrown all the bills and any form of communication that i had with them out.
