Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

20700 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is The pits at 25 Jan 2012 04:21:56 PM
I am a 62 year old who was given my first mobile phone for Christmas. It came with a $30 prepaid. I want to use an app called golf shot which uses GPS to indicate distance from the green. The app does not work but works for many others at the course I play on.

Trying to get assistance from Vodaphone is well near impossible. I'm sure their call centre is based overseas because it is much harder for people like me to complain. I will never do business with them again.

26 Jan 2012 10:24:01 AM: Without knowing which app or handset, have you checked whether there are any software updates for the app? Sometimes glitches are fixed in subsequent app software updates and it could be that your friends have already updated theirs (even automatically) so it hadn't occurred to them. I'm not sure this is a Vodafone problem, but getting your head around where the problem might be can be infruriating when it's all new. See if one of your friends can check it out - shout them a coffee or something. Alternatively, you might be able to uninstall and then reinstall (depending on what you paid for it of course). If it's the Golfshot: Golf GPS that's reasonably pricey for an app ($31.99) so you don't really want to uninstalling it without knowing what you're doing. It's had good reviews though :-)
