Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

I CAN NOT BELEIVE WHAT THIS IMBICILE FROM VODAFONE COMMUNITY IS SAYING TO THIS YET TO BE CUSTOMER.

I went to Chadstone's Vodafone outlet this afternoon for a $29 Cap, 12 months plan with Nexus S. And I was declined because of my employment period. The agent informed me that it was declined because it needs to be employed for at least 6 months.

Hi Raihan,

I apologise, I am unable to offer assistance as you did not meet Vodafone's credit criteria, however, you are more than welcome to re apply after 60 days from when the last credit check was performed.

In the mean time have you considered having a friend or family member apply for you? After 60 days, you can then have the service transferred into your name if another credit check is successful.

Thanks,

Cait

I am sure Voda use a central credit agency.

THink this complaint is a dud one...sorry. No issue here
19 Jan 2012 12:48:25 PM: THE ISSUE IS DRASTICALLY OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!
What this caitlin staff member of Vodafone Community is basically saying is, Year sure,.. you cant be approved for credit.get some other stupid FOOL to apply for credit and apply for a contract service, in the friend or family member's name,
THE SERVICE WILL ABSOLUTELY FAIL.The friend or family member gets stuck in a Vodafone mess, with no guarantee that the original POSSIBLE applicant(Raihan) will get approved for credit, even want the transfer, or even want the service after Vodafone fails it's service obligations.NOT MAY BE, IT WILL!

WHAT A RECEIPE FOR DISASTER FOR THE FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER!!!!
20 Jan 2012 06:05:17 PM: You are WRONG!! This staff member did nothing wrong! You're just an idiot who obviously doesn't know anything about credit checks or contracts or polite customer service.
21 Jan 2012 08:54:15 PM: Can the name calling now cease please.

22 Jan 2012 12:55:44 AM: Seconded, don't shoot the messenger! She is politely telling you that the imbeciles from corporate management don't want your money because they don't know enough about you and think you are a credit risk. Vodafone is unnecessarily strict about this. So if you don't like that, go elsewhere.
