Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

1643 Someone from QLD thinks vodafone is It fails about 80% of the time at 27 Dec 2010 07:58:01 AM
Call dropouts, missed calls without receiving the actual call, poor call quality, calling the same number a few times to make the call (cell towers don't respond quickly), constant redial to make a short call, very poor reception in 4509 postcode and no service inside the building in most areas of Brisbane North-side where I work. Vodafone has oversold its subscription and has failed to upgrade the towers to accommodate new connections.

I think NBN is to blame, all telecom companies have stopped upgrading due to NBN roll-out. Goodluck to tll those think Optus or Telstra are better. It is the same shit different name.
27 Dec 2010 01:55:45 PM: Um dude, the NBN has got nothing to do with mobile networks. In fact it is the complete opposite
27 Dec 2010 02:21:14 PM: It is networks like Vfail that the Coalitions Alternative to the NBN Policy relies to fill in the gaps in their plan. Gee that'll work great won't it? Mr Turnbull might get a good connection from his harbour viewed ivory tower with direct line of sight to over 5 trans towers.I'd shit myself with Joy at the 12mbs or 7 mbs that mob BB is theoretically capable of, Often 7Kbs is as good as it gets, and speeds in bps are sometimes the best available, if at all. Bring on the NBN, and don't let any entity at all associated with the Vodabone-of -Contention anywhere near it.
27 Dec 2010 02:33:35 PM: I have a HTC Desire with Telstra and the reception is amazing. I have reception on Fraser Island and Stradbroke Island, whereas my friends who have Optus and Vodafone phones get none. I get reception constantly around Brisbane and I have an incredibly fast data connection and a reliable carrier. I've been with 3mobile before (for 3 years) and was frustrated as my phone dropped calls when it constantly changed between 3g and roaming. Now, I'm on NextG almost all the time, and if not, I receive Edge. I will continue to be a Telstra customer as they truly have a network that actually works.
