Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

14790 Someone from TAS thinks vodafone is none at 27 Jan 2011 09:54:55 PM
Hey guys,
What a boring life u muct have to come on here and just complain, nothing is going to be done about it from here, call vodafone maybe they will do something. Im with vodafone and live in hobart and hve perfect reception most of the time, except in shopping centres :(
27 Jan 2011 10:21:28 PM: Really?? Have you every actually tried calling them?
27 Jan 2011 11:15:37 PM: @ 27 Jan 2011 11:54:55 PM There is something quite paradoxically ironic that you would suggest posting on here is a boring life when you have done the same.
31 Jan 2011 08:23:57 PM: Hey, they've got a point. maybe instead of getting upset and complaining, you can try to fix the problem. Yeah, I had a problem today, rang through to VF and had to wait on hold, had 3 dropped calls and had to explain my sittuation to 4 different people, but they all tried to help, and 3 of them ended up calling me back. I haven't got the issue fixed yet but they're trying. Why is it that I can go through that without ending up hating anyone or screaming at one of the staff or coming on here complaining, and other people can't. Seriously, it is just a phone. And I understand that people rely on these services, but you should always know that these things are never perfect. You can't honestly say that when you signed up for your contract that you thought every single thing would be 100% perfection. Maybe if you stuck with it, tried to get it fixed without yelling and screaming at the staff, then maybe you'd be having a better experience than what you are having now, without the frustration of having to get all up in a huff.
Please people, don't believe everything you read. I've had my share of problems, but MOST of the stuff in the media is complete rubbish. Some of the journalists are even under investigation. Yeah, vodafone has it's problems, as does any telco (maybe slightly diferent problems to other ones) but seriously, it's not worth getting so angry about.
