Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

13116 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is Total failure of every dept! at 21 Jan 2011 05:32:55 AM
There is light at the end of the tunnel, I have been through 3 months of hell with vodafone, people telling me they would call me back and didn't, supervisors being rude and sarcastic on the phones.....all the while having a phone that wouldn't work! After being advised by a consultant to buuy a new phone (because of course it was my phone that was the problem) and restarting the phone far too many times to count, waiting on the phone over an hour every single time I called, and I called a lot! ( think of all that time in my life hours and hours and hours wasted...I could have a degree in biochemistry now with all the time i wasted lol), I gave up!!! I rang the telecommunications ombusmen...the best thing I ever did. What vodafone had been saying they couldnt do for months they did in 2 days. I got out of my contract with no fees at all. YOU SHOULD NOT BE PAYING FOR A SERVCE THAT ISNT PROVIDING! when you signed that contract it wasnt just for you but for them also!! you agree to pay them, but they agree to provide you a service. They didnt provide me the service, then I WASN'T PAYING!
21 Jan 2011 05:35:17 AM: Can I add, I know telstra may see more expensive, but my phone has not dropped out since. telstra can be annoying, but if you want a phone that works and you can rely on TELSTRA all the way. Thankyou telstra for making my life better!!
21 Jan 2011 08:44:56 AM: Telstra has maintained network bandwidth to provide a better service by discouraging customers from signing up in the first place (their extortionate pricing). If you can afford Telstra's services then great but not everyone can.
