Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

@10 Jan 2011 05:21:39 PM: Nobody is destroying Vodafone except for Vodafone themself. All this site has done is bring a community together to show everyone they are not alone. This site would not exist if everything was 'peachy' because everyone would not be having problems. Again in case you missed the point of this post, Vodafone have put themself in this predicament, not anyone else. Finally the person that started this site did not start the class action (I don't even think he has registered for the class action, but I am not 100% sure if he has or hasn't), the class action was started by the Law Firm 'Piper Alderman', and they had already received many complaints from customers before this site was started.

So time to take some deep breaths, get your facts straight, and then come up with a common sense reply.

11 Jan 2011 05:33:34 PM: Even if every post was a single new complaint about Voda say 11000 posts divide that into say 4000000 customers (theres more than that) and then say times in by 10 cos for every 1 that bothers etc...you get 2.75% of customers complaining including ones that haven't with very generous maths! Simple maths proves that the problem is affecting way less people then this site would make it appear. Talk about blowing things out of proportion. Soon things will be better for you 3% rest assured...
