Dear visitor,

Since its inception Vodafail.com has made a significant contribution towards raising awareness of the problems and issues faced by Vodafone customers.

Vodafone Australia customers have had the opportunity to voice their concerns, their fears and their troubles from every corner of Australia and beyond our borders. You have gathered the courage to stand up for your rights as consumers and to make your voice heard.

Each and every person who shared their story should have a sense of pride in this achievement and the changes that have occurred since the start of Vodafail.com.

More recently, traffic to Vodafail.com has declined significantly. Having achieved the goal of raising awareness and promoting concrete action in early 2011, we have now reached the point of closing Vodafail to new complaints. The site will remain online for as long as possible as a reminder and an example of what is possible when we share our experiences.

It has been a privilege to run this initiative and I'm am forever grateful for the help and support I've received. In particular I would like to thank Melissa, David and Travis for their continued efforts over the past 15 months. I'm also thankful and humbled by the support of ACCAN, Choice magazine and a wide range of media outlets, blogs and websites.

You can still browse existing stories and find out how to file a complaint if you are experiencing problems.

Until next time,

Adam Brimo

10376 Someone from VIC thinks vodafone is i could string cans together to create a better service. at 4 Jan 2011 04:47:38 PM
I have been a vodaphone customer for years... (well over 5 I think) service at one time was pretty good but since i moved to a different suburb i cant get any service that isn't well below par.

I have drop outs on probably half my calls, I am forced to say "hello? are you still there" constantly and walk around my house trying to find a place where someone can hear me.
People constantly tell me that they have been calling for hours and get all kinds of error messages.
an average call takes me three attempts.

Eventually I was given a managers email address as I was so distressed about the constant waits on hold to complain. (the calls would generally end an hour in and still prematurely when the Vodaphone service would drop out and I would be forced to call back and wait in a line AGAIN AND AGAIN... for hours!).

I actually rang to cancel my plan and kinda got suckered into trying a new iphone, mind you this did take waiting on hold for about 8 hours over a few days.
I was told that it would get better, they would offer me a new phone and a two week trial to back out if it didnt improve.
For the two week trial they put me on it was fine. tolerable even.

then it all started again... literally the day after the 2 weeks ran out, the service went back to being horrible. as soon as i tried sending emails saying this wasn't good enough to the manager I could no longer get a response.

I have a nice shiny Iphone4 that cant make or receive calls properly now.
Don't be suckered if they offer you one, its a god damned con job.

I am so angry with Vodaphone that I have warned everyone I know about this companies lousy service and greedy business practices.
